Indian Air Force AFCAT - Eligibility Criteria - Educational Qualification :-
∎ Flying Branch :-
➢ Graduation (Three years degree course) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
➢ BE/B Tech degree ( four year course ) with a minimum of 60% mark or equivalent.
➢ Candidates who have cleared section A & B examination of Associate membership of institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical society of India with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
➢ Minimum of 50% marks in math and physics at 10th and 12th level.
∎ Ground Duty (Technical) Branch :-
➢ Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) :-
Minimum of 50% marks each in physics and math at 10th and 12th level and a four year degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks.
➢ Aeronautical Engineer ( Mechanical) :-
Minimum of 50% marks in each physics and math at10th and 12th level and four degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks.
∎ Ground Duty (Non-technical) :-
➢ Administration and logistics :- Graduation 9three year degree course) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
➢ Accounts Branch :- B.com Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks.
➢ Education - Post Graduation with 50% marks and graduation with a minimum of 60% marks.
➢ Meteorology :- B.sc with physics and math with a minimum of 60% marks or four year graduation in Engineering/technology with a minimum of 60% marks.
Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2024 Age Limit :-
∎ Flying Branch :- 20 to 24 years as of January 1,2025 (Born Between January 2,2002 and January 1 , 2006 ). The upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current commercial Pilot licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable for up to 26 years.
∎ Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch :- 20 to 26 years as of January 1 , 2025 (Born between January 2, 2000 and January 1, 2006 )

The selection process for Indian Air Force AFCAT recruitment 2024 involves a written examination followed by the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) testing for those who qualify. the final merit list is prepared based on the combined written examination and AFSB testing performance.

The Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2024 written exam consist of objective type questions covering General Awareness, verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test.
